Prior to the open house, I was visiting my parents house & saw a barn full of old boards with new eyes. I noticed how beautiful & unique each weathered piece of wood was. I found each board to be a piece of art in itself, but decided to build on the beauty & paint them. This actually led to me doing a lot of "barn board" pieces.
