1. I won the Valentines contest for the North Georgia Etsy team.... yeah!!! Thank you so much for all your votes. A special thanks to my campaign manager, Julie.2. Chris & Amie's baby shower was yesterday, so the whale is officially in his new home. I think he's a hit.
3. At the shower I met a very talented artist, Eric Underwood. I wanted to share the picture below because I think it's so cool. He got one of the sonogram pictures & painted the baby's silhouette. You can see it clearly in this picture, but in person you have to kind of look for it... it looks more like a cool piece of abstract art. I'll post his website as soon as he gets it online.
4. Last, but not least, I've got a busy week coming up.... big plans. I'm working on illustrations for my friend's (Lindsay) book. She writes a lot of children's books & poetry and I think this stuff needs to be published! If anyone has suggestions as to where we get started with that please let me know. I'm also interested in doing illustrations for companies that print invitations, stationary, greeting cards, etc, so starting point suggestions on this would be welcomed as well.
