The Loden Nursery
Mike & Amy Loden commissioned me to paint a few pieces for their little guy who is expected to arrive this summer. His nursery is 'nontraditional baby' by being of traditional design. Meaning... no pastels & fluffy little animals. Don't get me wrong... I adore the sweetness of classic nurseries, but when I heard about this well thought out design, I jumped on board. They ordered his furniture from Ragazzi and had his bedding custom made by New Arrivals, Inc.

The bedding is a unique combination of red plaid, B&W gingham, and a tad of denim. The top of the walls will be a crisp khaki with the bottom half done in white judge's panels. They wanted the paintings to be of vintage vehicle, the 'main attraction' to be a John Deere tractor. Mike was very specific about this one! All of the vehicles are representative of different family members, which I think is really special and cool.

I can't wait to see this all pulled together. I think it's going to be magazine worthy!
