1. Athfest would be at the top of the list. Great festivities & bands all weekend long.
It's all outdoors, so it's sure to be hot. If you'd prefer to get out in nature and be near water, the next suggestion might better suite you...
2. Fort Yargo State Park. My brother & sis-in-law discovered this little gem recently & let us in on the fun. They rented a really cool yurt.
Last suggestion if you really want to beat the heat...
3. The Cooler. One of my dear friends threw her husband a surprise ice skating party not long ago. It was good, clean fun!
