I love my mother-in-law. I am blessed to say that I never have anything to contribute to the bad m.i.l conversations that many of my peers have.... she really is great. It's a good thing I like her so much because I'm not even mad at her for dropping a
trunk load of Trent's childhood "stuff" at our house today. Just thinking about this pile gives me anxiety. The trunk load included a bazillion baseball cards, trophies, and a large box of notes & miscellaneous items from high school. I have wasted countless hours this evening going through these highly entertaining notes, but that's beside the point. I like to purge the house regularly, but the question is what do you keep & how do you store keepsakes? It's a challenge for me & there's only two of us....I've wondered what parents of young children do. About a year ago I saw a solution for all the artwork (you can only put so much on the fridge). Simply take pictures of the art & put it into a book... loved the idea (
shutterfly.com)...
BUT... I just discovered this solution & I think is way cooler...
I don't think this would be a very good solution for all the notes from Trent's ex-girlfriends,
but it's a thought.
